Generally speaking

Pricing is not arbitrary; rather it is determined by the power-level of the respective models. In turn, the power level is determined by the particular requirements of the individual light-source to be regulated.

There are 4 different power-levels, which correlate with increased current specifications. The base price of each power level applies to orders ranging from 1 to 4 Lamp Controllers, after which aggressive volume discounts apply. Consider the savings for PO's scheduled in this manner.


VOLUME DISCOUNTS

MERCRON offers an aggressive Discount Schedule.

Beginning with a 5% discount for quantities of 5-through-9, discounts increase up to 25% on orders of 100 or more. It goes up from there to quantities of 250 or more. For orders over 250, please submit a RFQ. Contact Us to request published Price Chart for specifics.


Other factors:

3 Other Rules of Thumb for Negotiable Discounts:
     1) Purchase History of the previous year. We appreciate your repeat business..
     2) Payment History for orders received on Net 30 terms.
     3) When volume discounts apply, History of Discrepancies in quantity ordered vs. quantity actually received.
     4) Reliable guarantees on projected ordering/receiving schedule.


Forfeiting Volume Discounts:

We would really hate to do it, but if payment is not received within AP terms of 30-days, subsequent shipments risk being charged non-discounted prices, and/or MERCRON will require pre-payment for subsequent shipments until credit is re-established.


Cancellation Fees:

MERCRON controllers are custom, made-to-order. We do not stock completed units. Therefore, a restocking charge will be applied to units that have undergone final assembly and are waiting to be shipped against a fully-released Purchase Order.


However, if these units are rescheduled, received, and paid for by the purchaser within a year's time, the amount of the cancellation fee will be credited to the renewed / newer order.


Moreover, subsequent orders will not be shipped against outstanding unpaid invoices unless a previous order is rightfully within its respective 30-day period.


Repair Charges:

See Warranty for RMA's both under warranty and out of warranty as charges apply accordingly. Note: ALL returns for service, require an Return Material Authorization Number (RMA). If controller is not repairable, MERCRON will waive repair fees with the purchase of a new unit.

Exchanges:

MERCRON does not do trade-ins. So please consult - at no charge - which application-specific model is best suited for your system, especially if this is your first time buying, or if for a new project.


Modification Fees:

For small modifications to one of MERCRON's basic designs, there generally is no charge.


UPGRADE Charges:

This charge is presently $120.


Prototypes ⁄ R&D:

Customization or prototypes would typically incur a reasonable, one-time engineering cost dependent upon the degree of customization. But we can do it!


SHIPPING & HANDLING:

We ship factory-direct, worldwide!

Normally, there are no other handling charges for Shipping, save the actual shipping costs per courier. We regularly ship via UPS (United Parcel) or FedEx. We ship Standard (4-to-5 business days), 2 day, 3 day, and Overnight, via UPS (United Parcel Service) or FedEx.

However, $25 (par for all Couriers) is charged for the extra paperwork involved in global shipping.

We do not ship C.O.D.
We will ship Freight Collect on UPS, FedEx, and DHL accounts.
