MERCRONÂ’s Repair Charges and Fees
As of September 1, 2010

  1. Minimum Bench Charge (MBC) for Test & Inspection only...........................$75
    Includes visual inspection and testing, resetting of the thermal cutout if needed, and minor adjustments. Applies to units received with NFF (No Fault Found) and also to units not repairable due to physical damage.
  2. No-Box Bench Charge (NBC) for Repairs to Circuit Board (PCB) only ..................................................................................................................................$120
    Applies to units configured without an enclosure. Includes all circuit board mounted components required for repair and updates, testing and adjustment.
  3. Update Bench Charge (UBC) for Circuit Board Updates only ..................................................................................................................................$120
    This charge applies to older units that are functioning but require circuit updates engineering changes) to restore their performance to original (or better) operation.

  4. Standard Bench Charge (SBC) for Repairs to ControllerÂ’s Circuit Board only ..................................................................................................................................$175
    Includes all circuit board mounted components needed to return the unit to original functionality. All latest updates are installed and the unit is completely tested.

  5. Housing Bench Charge (HBC) for Lamp Fixture and Controller Repair ..................................................................................................................................$200
    Applies to units returned installed in the CustomerÂ’s custom housing or lamp enclosure. Includes repair of MERCRONÂ’s Board plus inspection of photo detector positioning and adjustment of light intensity. Also includes cleaning of lamp and reflector.

    Includes:     Wash and clean circuit board as needed
