For the convenience of its customers, MERCRON maintains an inventory of the more popular aperture lamps in order to expedite delivery of an otherwise, custom-ordered lamp.

Legend:
FA = Fluorescent Aperture
1st number after FA = "Length" only with T12's is this number the actual length
2nd segment - T5/T8/T12 = Diameter: T = 1/8"; e.g. T5 = 5 x 1/8 → T5 = 5/8" diameter.
3rd segment - D/CW/TB1 = Phosphor: Daylight = Daylight; CW = Cool White; RGB = Red /Green/Blue (Tri-Band1)
4th segment - VHO = Very High Output = 1500mA; Other outputs are Standard = 400mA and High Output (HO) = 800mA
Last segment = Degree of aperture; e.g., 30° aperture = 30° of 360° of phosphor coating has been scraped away to convert an otherwise Fluorescent into directional lighting = extra bright.
Aperture lamps are specially packed and ship 2nd Day Air to protect against breakage and minimize handling.
